An image in X-rays of the Sun taken on Jun 20th 1997, by the Yohkoh satellite.

A color-enhanced H-alpha image (16:17 UT/03 Oct. 96) of a solar prominence at the limb of the Sun, from the Big Bear Solar Observatory.

..but there is a treasure of science in the interior !

These pages are based on multimedia material on helio- and asteroseismology prepared for a public outreach CD-ROM on research projects at the Institute for Physics and Astronomy, of Aarhus University.
