2001-2002 Solar Webcast Series

This webcast series "All About the Sun" is a joint program between the Stanford SOLAR Center (part of the SOHO spacecraft mission) and NASA's Learning Technologies Channel. Individual webcasts are tailored for Grades 2-4, Grades 5-8 or Grades 9-12 on a variety of topics on Solar Astronomy. Students can interact and ask questions during the show using the chatroom, and exciting activities are available for classroom use.

Sun-Earth Day

As part of NASA's Sun-Earth Day event, Paul Mortfield hosted a special 2 hour webcast with groups of students showing results from a variety of solar related activities. Guest scientists were be on hand to answer live questions.

Students and teachers from other parts of the country were able to interact with this event from other NASA centers.
